This past weekend, Tommy put the finishing touches on our new kitchen pantry. Before, we had a useless side cabinet and absolutly no storage area for food.
He knocked out the soffit above the refrigerator, only to find it had been hiding plumbing. After he re-routed the plumbing, he began installing the cabinets he made in the basement a few weeks earlier.
I have to say, I cannot believe what a difference having a pantry makes! We have so much more room in our kitchen now. The drawers all pull out for ease and convienience. No more digging in the back or bottom for a can or a box. We have ample room for our baking sheets above the refrigerator, and we have a side cabinet, which we will house Tommy's scotch and bourbon stash... locked and out of reach of little hands and mouths. :)
